An expert stated that over 20% of the sites that come up after a celebrity is searched for are infected with malware. The list included names like Brad Pitt, Beyonce, Justin Timberlake, Heidi Montag, Mariah Carey, Jessica Alba, Lindsay Lohan, Cameron Diaz, George Clooney, Rihanna, Angelina Jolie, Fergie, David Beckham, Katie Holmes and Katherine Heigl.

For example, Beyonce ringtones will return sites that promote false offers in order to gather or steal personal data. Justin Timberlake completes the top 3.
Users are advised to protect themselves from this kind of attacks with an up-to-date anti-virus program and a firewall. If however you suspect your PC to be infected, try not to use it in transactions or any type of things which require you to enter your personal bank account number or similar data. Instead you should either install an anti-virus or do a complete format on your computer.
